Your laptop loaded with QuickBooks Premier

This 2-part interactive workshop will walk the business owner through QuickBooks Premier software, familiarize you with a variety of functions integral to your company and generate the detailed information and reports needed to operate a construction company efficiently and profitably. If you are already using QuickBooks or another system; this workshop is designed to enhance what you currently use and address issues specific to your industry.  You are in this business to make money and this workshop will help you professionalize your operations and better position you for greater earnings through efficiencies. 

Part 2 – June 8 

This workshop will walk you through setting up your company on QuickBooks, if not already done, and reviewing the set-up.  You will set up chart of accounts, estimates for contracts and then the billing.  We will walk you through how to post retainage as the job is progressing and not waiting to book until the end of the job.  We will cover vendor postings and a review of job costing.  We will also cover journal entries on how to post into QuickBooks and to jobs.

CPA specializing in construction accounting.  Diane started as a bookkeeper while putting herself through college for a construction company and liked the uniqueness of construction accounting.  She’s been working in the field for over 30 years with contractors that range from $500,000 in revenue to $45,000,000 in revenue. She enjoys her work and likes to help contractors grow in a healthy manner.
