URBAN OUTFITTERS ANNOUNCES EXPANSION CREATING 2,000 JOBS IN PHILADELPHIA

As announced at this morning’s press conference during the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Annual Conference in Philadelphia, covered by the Inquirer’s Chris Hepp, Urban Outfitters, the iconic purveyor of hip clothing and housewares, is expanding its Philadelphia headquarters at The Navy Yard and adding a mail-order facility in Lancaster County.

The expansion will ultimately mean an additional 2,000 jobs in the city and another 500 in Gap, according to Richard Hayne, Urban Outfitter’s founder and chief executive officer. Click here to read the full article.
