BFTPLogoBen Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for funding awards of up to $750,000 for companies with commercializing technologies in energy generation, conservation, and/or transportation.

The Alternative Energy Development Program (AEDP) accelerates the development and commercialization of promising clean and alternative energy technologies.  Successful competitive proposals will be funded on a first come, first served basis until such time that the AEDP Funds have been fully allocated.

Eligibility and Key Dates:

Companies will have fewer than 250 employees and be located in, or willing to locate to, either Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia Counties. Proposals for commercializing technologies showing demonstrated impact for energy generation, conservation, and/or distribution will be considered. Technologies employed in the proposals can range from early stage to commercialization ready. Funding is designed to accelerate commercial adoption.

An email notice of intent to apply is due by June 23, 2014, 5:00P.M.  The completed proposal must be submitted by July 7, 2014, 5:00 P.M.
