This RFP seeks an experienced industrial development team or large-scale end user to acquire and develop a 35.5-acre industrial site, located at 5501 Tacony Street in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia, PA.  Total developable acreage is estimated to be 24.0 acres.  Potential uses include logistics, distribution, warehousing, and manufacturing.  Non-industrial uses will not be considered.
The site is a Keystone Opportunity Extension Zone.  It’s located in a strong industrial corridor and features direct access to I-95, along with easy connections to I-76, the NJ Turnpike, and the PA Turnpike.  A strong network of local roads and established public transportation routes, makes the Site easily accessible to employees.  Philadelphia International Airport (“PHL”) and the Port of Philadelphia (“Port”) are minutes away. 

An informational meeting will be held at PIDC’s offices (1500 Market Street, Suite 2600 West) on March 23, 2018 at 9:00AM.  Attendees must register in advance by sending an email to jshirley@pidcphila.com.   

Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted via email to Kate McNamara, Vice President – Real Estate Services, at kmcnamara@pidcphila.com.  The deadline for submitting questions is 5:00 PM on Friday, March 30, 2018. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.

Proposals are due at PIDC’s offices by 12:00 PM on Friday, May 4, 2018.  Teams must submit four (4) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy of their proposal in PDF format to the attention of:
