PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public meeting will be held remotely by the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (the “Authority”) on October 26, 2020, at 5:00 pm via online web conference.
The meeting purpose is to solicit public comments regarding the Authority’s draft application (“the Application”) to the Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) to request FY21 Cleanup Grant funding to perform environmental remediation of 4910 Botanic Avenue.
All persons attending the virtual meeting will be afforded an opportunity to comment on the Application. Please visit pidcphila.com/events to register for the event, view the Application, and/or submit feedback. Written comments will be accepted by the Authority until 5:00 pm Thursday, October 22, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the building that the Authority uses for its meetings is currently closed to the public. As such, the meeting will take place remotely in accordance with Pennsylvania law (2020 Pa. Legis. Serv. Act 2020-15 (S.B. 841) (PURDON'S)) and the Governor’s Declaration of a State of Emergency for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania dated March 6, 2020 due to a public health emergency, as amended by Amendment to Proclamation of Disaster Emergency dated June 3, 2020, and as further amended by Amendment to Proclamation of Disaster Emergency dated August 31, 2020.
